Have a look at successful with staff enjoying a positive and trusting work culture, they are in need of a new General Manager to lead the development and delivery of the Associations key membership, events, training and communications initiatives.The RoleThe role of General Manager Communications & Stakeholder Engagement is a key senior position reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and working closely with a highly skilled team of 4 direct reports including Professional Development Coordinator, Marketing & Communications Coordinator, Training & Education Manager, Administration Coordinator.A dynamic, exciting and challenging environment, you will be responsible for:Maintaining strong membership value and engagementOverseeing management for industry engagement eventsCorporate communicationsProgram managementDevelop and oversee relevant and current training material, workshops and e-learning initiativesCommunity and stakeholder engagementThe PersonWe are very interested to speak to you if you believe you have the following:Effective people leadership skills and experienceCredibility/networks in the Australian livestock or agribusiness sectorCommunications and event management experienceCommercial acumen in the delivery of member services, training and eventsProven industry and stakeholder engagement skillsThe ability to understand, relate to, and connect with a broad range of industry entitiesExemplary organisational and planning skillsAdvanced skills in administration, deadline management, prioritisation, adaptability and situational awarenessSome travel requiredIdeally, you will have a passion for agriculture or indeed a background in agriculture and come with a solid reputation of exceptional communication and engagement and a keen desire to make a difference.
