If you''re an energetic account manager ready to make a big impact in a fast-paced FMCG environment, read onWhat is the role?The National Account Manager, Pharmacy will lead day-to-day management of our Australian pharmacy customers, with a focus on Chemist Warehouse. You''ll work across iconic brands such as Bondi Sands, Jergens, Bior, John Frieda, and Biozet Attack, while also supporting the broader Sales team with other AU retailers.With a focus on continued growth and expansion, your priority will be to assist in developing and implementing the AU retail and wholesale sales business plan, driving its implementation to deliver on agreed upon company revenue targets. You will manage your customers, considering their strategic requirements and closely understanding your P&L in order to maximise both sets of opportunities.You will critically forecast and plan to ensure full availability of products to retailers and assist in managing business inventory investment. You will work closely with internal teams to integrate sales objectives into the broader activities of the business, identifying strategic Business Development opportunities with existing and new accounts and delivering on agreed upon business growth targets.Key responsibilities:Effectively manage assigned retailers by building strong mutually beneficial relationships to ensure delivery of targetsContribute to the customer centricity mantra by developing strategic partnerships with clientsDevelop account specific stock and sales plans to align with financial targets and company goalsDevelop annual joint business plans, driving alignment to the plan both internally and with retailer/sDirect ownership of forecasting and consumption patterns aligned to the Fiscal Year planning calendarProviding all Wholesale and Sell through forecasts, account reporting and other sales reports requestedWorking with inventory management and demand planning team to build and maintain an accurate inventory holding and forecastNegotiate pricing, terms, promotional offers, and in-store positioning to align with business goals and market competitivenessRevenue and Gross Profit budget responsibility for all relevant customersEnsure trade marketing, investment plans and product placement goals are met to communicate clearly the brand / campaign messages (in collaboration with AUNZ & Global marketing stakeholders)Identify, approach and secure new retail partner / category expansion opportunities across AU customersSo, who are you?You could be our National Account Manager - Pharmacy. This is an unbelievable career opportunity for a passionate and driven individual with at least five years experience managing key accounts, ideally across Australian and New Zealand marketplaces, and a proven track record of portfolio success.Pre-existing relationships with our major AU Pharmacy retailer, Chemist Warehouse is essential, and with your understanding of this retailer, you will be well primed to hit the ground running with your assigned accounts, ensuring our brand is always elevated on their shelves.You are commercially and mathematically astute, with strong project management skills and an ability to influence and negotiate with all levels of stakeholders.
