The purpose of this role is to provide financial management and meaningful reporting for the Motorserve Group.27th May, 2025Motorserve is owned by Insurance Australia Group Limited (IAG) and has been proudly helping Australians since 2007, by providing quality repairs and car servicing.We are looking for an Accountant/Financial Analyst to join our team.The purpose of this role is to provide financial management and meaningful reporting for the Motorserve Group. This includes financial policy and process, internal controls and systems and support of the transactional process functions.What you will be doing:AccountantCo-ordinating the general ledger including overseeing the monthly balance sheet, profit and loss and banking.Variance analysis of the Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet trend and making corrections where needed.Completion of the monthly accruals, journals, fixed assets and depreciation schedules.Assisting in the year end audit process .Support the transaction processing teams providing guidance and education to all team members.Review monthly results of stores and generate relevant business insights after month end close in order to help stores improve performance.Weekly tracking of stores performance and forecasting end of month results of stores.Facilitate head office reporting on periodic basis.Model business case and scenario analysis.Budget preparation assistanceVerify the integrity of the datasets.
