The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of RabbitMQ and its application in designing and maintaining high availability systems across various industries. This role involves reviewing existing designs, providing expert input, and ensuring the robustness and resilience of our messaging infrastructure.Responsibilities and Accountabilities:Design and Architecture: Lead the design and architecture of RabbitMQ-based messaging systems to ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability.System Review: Conduct thorough reviews of existing RabbitMQ implementations and provide recommendations for improvements.High Availability Solutions: Implement and maintain high availability solutions, including clustering, replicated queues, and failover mechanisms.Performance Optimization: Optimize RabbitMQ performance by tuning configurations, managing resources, and implementing best practices.Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Set up and maintain monitoring tools to ensure system health and quickly resolve any issues.Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system designs, configurations, and operational procedures.Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of RabbitMQ systems.Training and Mentoring: Provide training and mentorship to junior team members on RabbitMQ best practices and high availability strategies.Requirements and Experience:Education: Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years focused on RabbitMQ and high availability systems.Technical Skills:In-depth knowledge of RabbitMQ, including clustering, mirrored queues, and quorum queues.Experience with high availability and disaster recovery strategies.Proficiency in scripting and automation.Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace).Strong understanding of networking, load balancing, and security principles.Soft Skills:Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong communication and collaboration abilities.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.Desired Experience & Knowledge:Strong expertise in OCI core services, including Compute, Networking, Storage, Database, Security, and Observability & Management.Experience with OCI-native services such as Autonomous Database, Exadata Cloud Service, Oracle Kubernetes Engine (OKE), and Oracle Functions.Solid understanding of cloud security best practices, identity management, and RBAC within OCI.Familiarity with hybrid cloud environments and Oracle applications like E-Business Suite, Oracle Database, and middleware.Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect Professional certification (OCI 2023 or later) is highly desirable.Additional cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) are a plus.Proven track record in delivering end-to-end OCI solutions, from planning and design to implementation and operational handover.Why Fujitsu?We are an organization with a strong set of values and a history of respecting fairness and equality, whilst promoting diversity, equity and inclusion.
