This is a leadership role that requires a strategic thinker with a strong sales acumen, experience in professional services, and a passion for helping businesses succeed.Youll be responsible for leading our national sales function, identifying new market opportunities, building high-value partnerships, and inspiring a small but growing team to achieve outstanding results.What you will doDevelop and implement a scalable, results-driven sales strategy aligned with AVA Advisorys mission and growth targetsIdentify and pursue new business opportunities across Australia, with a focus on SMBs in need of financial advisory or restructuring servicesBuild and nurture long-term relationships with accounting firms, legal professionals, referral partners, and key decision-makers within the SMB sectorLead, mentor, and grow a high-performing sales team with a focus on collaboration, accountability, and client outcomesGrow the firm by attending eventsBring and grow your existing network and referral baseAnalyse market trends, client needs, and competitor insights to continuously refine sales tactics and offeringsRepresent AVA Advisory at industry events, networking forums, and strategic presentations to elevate brand presence and credibilityCollaborate with the marketing and advisory teams to create aligned campaigns and tailored sales materialsReport regularly to the CEO and leadership team on sales performance, forecasts, and strategic initiativesAbout youYoure a dynamic and motivated sales leader with a minimum of 710 years experience in B2B sales, ideally within professional or financial servicesYou have a strong understanding of the challenges faced by Australian SMBs and are passionate about delivering real value and solutionsYou are commercially minded, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding ambitious sales targetsYou are a relationship builder who thrives on connecting with people and uncovering opportunities through trust and integrityYou are confident presenting at a boardroom level, with excellent communication and negotiation skillsYou are proactive, strategic, and resilient.
