andEnsuring that information is accurate and up to date on the Courts case management system and for reporting purposes.Supporting the development and review of policies and procedures, including assisting with drafting and consultation processes.Allocations and pro bonoAssisting with migration allocations nationally, including reviewing new filings, preparing case summaries, identifying outstanding case management issues, drafting directions and callover lists, and preparing matters for allocation.Processing pro bono referrals, including liaising with solicitors and counsel to arrange for the provision of legal assistance in accordance with the referral certificate.Assisting with assessing compliance with Court Rules, policies and procedures in specific matters and at a whole of registry level.Professional qualifications, competencies and attributesApplicants for this role must have a law degree and should be admitted as a practitioner of the High Court and/or the Supreme Court of a State or Territory of Australia.To undertake this role, the successful candidate should demonstrate:Well-developed legal research, analysis and drafting skills;Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy;Excellent oral and written communication skills, good interpersonal skills, appropriate presentation for court work and the ability to appropriately deal with sensitive and confidential information;An understanding of the migration jurisdiction and practice and procedure of the Court or the ability to acquire such knowledge quickly;Initiative to work autonomously and take responsibility for progressing work, whilst also being able to work collaboratively, as required;The ability to evaluate a large volume of information quickly and to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively;The ability to perform the administrative functions of the role efficiently;
