We prioritize safety, leadership, and continuous improvement.About The RoleReporting to the Superintendent Planning and Infrastructure, this role covers strategic and technical mine planning for our Copper SA Underground Mines over a 2-8 year horizon. You will guide diverse stakeholders on mine infrastructure and planning, including standards management. Infrastructure areas include ventilation, air, power, water, paste fill, and their safety, production, and cost impacts.Your industry experience will enable you to build effective relationships and communicate across all organizational levels.This position is based in Adelaide, on a 5:2 roster, with occasional site travel to mine sites. Flexible work arrangements are available.ResponsibilitiesModel infrastructure demand over the 5-year mine plan to determine project requirements.Justify capital expenditure and optimize efficiencies.Educate and coach personnel on mine services systems.Support the integration and optimization of Copper SA operations.Participate in 5YP/LoA planning with a focus on safety, schedule, reliability, and costs.Contribute to long-term planning and continuous improvement initiatives.Introduce new technologies to enhance safety and productivity.Provide technical support for planning projects and reviews.Develop scopes of work for external stakeholders.Manage projects supporting studies.Coordinate stakeholders for integrated mine planning.Integrate planning software to support operations.Uphold commitments to health, safety, environmental responsibility, and sustainability.Qualifications and ExperienceMining Engineering degree or equivalent.Extensive underground mine planning and operations experience.Experience in mine or project scheduling (highly desirable).Proficiency in ventilation and design software (VentSim, Deswik, MS Office).Ability to interpret data, identify issues, and develop validation processes.Develop infrastructure strategies, identify risks, and implement mitigation.Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.Experience with Lean Six Sigma and Theory of Constraints (advantageous).Experience delivering studies to operations readiness (advantageous).CuSA experience (advantageous).Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability.How to ApplyPlease apply before 18 June 2025.
