Join to apply for the Pathology Collector role at St Vincent''s Health Australia Job Details Part Time positions (Grade 2 and 4) available Excellent benefits, including Salary Packaging About The Role You will be accountable for: Correctly collecting, caring, storing, packaging and labelling pathology specimens Providing a high quality pathology service to requesting doctors and patients Greeting patients in a friendly and courteous manner and interviewing patients to ascertain key information for identification purposes Referring Doctor/s information Collection of category and billing information Explaining procedures to patient and providing written instructions as appropriate Collecting the required specimen(s), placing in suitably labelled containers, fixing laboratory number stickers, storing and transporting appropriately Couriering specimens / reports from the collection location to the required destination if needed Locations & Schedule Part Time and Casual roles available across Melbourne.
