Were part of the Lindsay Group, a national leader in transport and logistics, connecting regional communities with key markets across Australia.The Role:We are seeking a local MC Driver to join the team in the Innisfail depot for pickup and delivery work. Local drivers are responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of customer goods and the loading, unloading and load restraint of freight.This role is a full-time position working day shift across the full week weekend work included.Primary duties of the role include:Working with temperature sensitive produce for local pickup and delivery runsEnsuring the safe and timely handling of company freightCompleting relevant pre-start checklists, safety documentation and delivery paperwork including the use of in-vehicle technologyInteracting with clients in a professional mannerWorking closely with depot teams for the loading, unloading and transportation of freightAbout You:The candidates we are looking for will:Have a current & valid MC licence as a minimumKnowledge of paperwork associated with freight delivery and familiarity using internal cab data systemsHave a commitment to workplace health and safety.Have a strong customer focus with good communication skills.Be well presented, professional and reliable.A current and valid Forklift licence is highly regarded but not essential.Previous refrigerated transport experience is highly respected in this role.To be successful for this role applicants must:Pass a Commercial Drivers Health Assessment including drug and alcohol testProvide a current traffic print outBe willing to work weekend shifts and be flexible with start & finish timesWhat We OfferCareer development opportunities in a growing organisation.A family-oriented company culture that values safety, support, and inclusivity.Recognition and rewards for key service milestones.Employee referral and retention bonus programs.Salary packaging options, including novated leases.Discounts with partners such as Qantas, Ringers Western, Bridgestone Tyres, and more.Equal Opportunity EmployerThe Lindsay Group is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
