This role will focus on the security management and Administration of our PAM (BeyondTrust Password Safe) tool and will be responsible for the co-ordination of the team underlying server and OS infrastructure. The role will entail dealing with daily BAU and Level 2 support for the products whilst using your skillset and enterprise tooling to improve efficiency, customer satisfaction, compliance, and control effectiveness in these areas. The role will require an understanding of the technologies involved, a compliance mindset, as well as the ability to innovate and drive change in the area. The role will involve communicating with a wide range of staff across all levels of the business meaning that stakeholder and relationship management via good communication skills are key to being successful in this role.What Youll DoBecome a subject matter expert (SME) for the enterprise PAM (BeyondTrust) solutionAct as a primary coordinator for the maintenance of the in-house IAM team servers and operating systems for both Linux and Windows platformsResponsible for ensuring that the IAM Team servers are up to date with patching levels and version levels by means of co-ordination with the IAM team and external teams, where requiredUpgrades of the PAM Infrastructure across all environments via BeyondTrust SUPI and Product Version updatesBecome the Primary SME for supporting and maintaining the Microsoft Certificate Authority and HSM Devices ensuring that patching and versions are up to dateWork towards taking on the role of Risk Champion for the IAM team and conduct regular catchups around Risk ControlsEnsuring PAM access maintenance and cleanup activities for staff access are carried outGain an understanding of the user licensing model within PAM to ensure compliancyWork with business stakeholders to build appropriate access models for staff who require privileged access, using smart rules, to servers and applications within PAMPerform day-to-day 2nd level Identity and Access Management support via SNAP and monitor the team email queueAssist in the investigation, identification, and documentation of IAM risks and associated controlsProduce, maintain and review documentation as required for the relevant platformsBuild and extend upon the strong system controls and processes by continually questioning and enhancing the processOrganise, maintain, execute and document the following annual exercises:-Platform database restoresBCP (Business Continuity Plan)What Youve DoneProven background in Server support of both Windows and Linux environments with an identity / security focusGood understanding and experience in supporting a Privileged Access Management solutionWorking background within Identity Access Management (IAM) with particular focus on any of the following applications: PAM system (such as BeyondTrust or CyberArc, etc), Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft CA, Exchange, EntraID, Databases (SQL, Oracle), Cloud Services (AWS, GCP)A working background with network infrastructure, such as, firewall and routing troubleshooting experienceTechnical documentationAnd if youve got some of this, even better:Experience with any of the following technologies SailPoint IdentityIQ or IdentityNow, Forgerock, HashiCorp, SSL, SAML, OAuth, PKI, MFA would be beneficialCommercial development experience with any of the following technologiesScripting languages (PowerShell)LDAP Query syntaxPowerBI or PowerAutomateControl identification and creation in relation to managing identities and access privilegesExperience with Enterprise Password Management toolsFinancial services experienceWhat you need to enjoy and be good at for this role:Strong control awareness in an environment where there is no compromise on process controlsEnjoy working in a collaborative environment to implement and maintain best practise security protocolsInquisitive nature to question the process to drive innovation and automationBe a self-starter and take initiative to communicate, interact and cooperate with othersAbility to adapt to high pressure situations and prioritiesWillingness to have a laugh with teammatesWe make hiring decisions based on your skills, capabilities and experience, and how youll help us to live our values.
