In addition, you will have the opportunity to examine and treat various native wildlife that is brought into clinic (wallabies, curlews, frogs, snakes, lizards, so many different birds!).The team has an established and loyal client base - we have been operating for over 30 years. You will join an experienced team of vets, nurses and our groomer. The team work together to provide team-based care to their patients.The clinic is spread over two levels, with 3 consult rooms (that have windows with natural sunlight), 2 treatment tables, surgical theatre, radiology room, isolation ward, post-op recovery cages, plus separate dog and cat wards. The entire top floor of the clinic is dedicated to the team (shower, bathroom, toilet, kitchen, dining area, lounge/mindfulness corner).About Your New JobPart- time or full-time hours availableUndertaking general nursing tasks, including pre and post-operative care, animal pathology and emergency and critical carePerforming minor procedures when requiredMaintaining the overall hygiene of the practice, including surgical areas and equipmentProviding great customer service in person and over the phone, including booking appointments and giving adviceWhat Youll BringCertificate IV in Veterinary Nursing with 2+ years clinical nursing experienceAn extensive knowledge and understanding of veterinary nursing proceduresStrong communication skillsA calm and friendly presence with a team player attitudeExperience with RXworks advantageousMost importantly, we are seeking a motivated nurse who is interested in furthering their knowledge both as an individual and as part of a team.Sound like your next role?
