You will collaborate with talented professionals working on iconic projects to drive future ready outcomes that will benefit clients and communities.Reporting to the Project Manager, you will join a high-performing and established team of engineers and other professionals at our centrally located Perth CBD office.Our global team of over 5,200 dedicated mining professionals are supporting the industry to decarbonise mining operations in the accelerating green transition. Working collaboratively across borders and disciplines, youll join a leading team working on interesting and complex projects. We are experts in our field, and we are passionate about mining.What youll do:Drive the successful delivery and completion of a non-process infrastructure (NPI) project for a tier 1 mining client.Develop project goals and objectives by preparing management plans and milestones.Control the financial management of the project by overseeing budget expenditure, conducting regular reviews against the plan and budget, and taking corrective actions as required.Develop, manage, and control project schedules, reporting on progress, developing mitigation strategies, and ensuring all areas under management are scheduled and maintained in accordance with project and client procedures.Ensure the project complies with regulatory, governance, and community requirements.Manage risks, issues, and changes that may arise within your area, and ensure that risk mitigation strategies are in place and any potential impacts are minimized.Establish and maintain effective communication and collaboration with all project stakeholders, including the client, contractors, and internal teams.Ensure robust reporting frameworks are established and maintained to assist decision-making, including reporting on project progress and stage assessments, and measuring and reporting on progress against the project plan.About YouYoure likely to be an Area Manager with extensive experience overseeing NPI projects and are a team player with excellent stakeholder engagement and leadership abilities. In addition, you will bring the following skills and attributes:10+ years of relevant professional experience, including a minimum of three years of project management and leadership experience.Demonstrated experience in the delivery of NPI projects through the full project lifecycle from studies through to execution.Technical experience with NPI projects containing access roads, workshops (heavy and light vehicle), warehouses, office buildings, fuel farms, power, water, and communications facilities.Experience in managing design development and option analysis, coordinating engineering teams, and developing cost estimates and schedules.Proven project management skills and demonstrated ability to deliver work within the agreed budget, timeframe, and client requirements.Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with key external clients and other key stakeholders.Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.With us, you can.
