The Team:Digital Health: The Bluegum Digital Health Transformation Program team is responsible for delivering the Digital Health Transformation Strategy, a 10-year program aimed at transforming the state''s health system into a world-class, innovative, and integrated system. The goal is to empower consumers and enable healthcare professionals to deliver better patient outcomes through system-wide, digitally enabled technologies.The program, including the implementation of the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, is crucial for the efficient delivery of frontline health services into the future. It aims to enhance healthcare across Tasmania by creating a connected and accessible health system, ensuring all Tasmanians receive timely and appropriate care, ultimately improving health outcomes.*** Please Note: An organisational restructure is underway, which may result in some positions being relocated to the Bluegum Digital Health Transformation Program. Further details will be provided during the interview process. ***The Role:The Senior Change Manager is a key driver of the Bluegum Digital Health Transformation Program, leading program-wide change initiatives and providing strategic direction. Working closely with project sponsors, clinical leaders, business units, and Tasmanian State Service Agencies, the role ensures the delivery of critical milestones through strategic engagement, clear communication, and stakeholder alignment.The Senior Change Manager will lead the design and execution of change strategies, applying structured methodologies to meet program goals and embed sustainable transformation. The role involves identifying high-value activities, mitigating risks, and delivering strategic insights to shape the future of digital health in Tasmania.You will need:Expertise and experience in planning and managing organizational change within large digital transformation programs.Leadership skills in a project management environment to problem solve and deliver high-quality, timely, and compliant outcomes.High-level judgment, intelligence, innovative thinking, professionalism, integrity, resilience, and self-awareness.Strong research, analytical, and conceptual skills with the ability to develop change management capabilities across an organization and influence business change implementation.Note: - Please refer to the Statement of Duties for all the selection criteria to address in your application.Why Tasmania:The Department of Health Tasmania oversees hospitals such as the Royal Hobart Hospital, Launceston General Hospital, Northwest Regional Hospital, and Mersey Community Hospital, along with district hospitals and ambulance services.
