The successful candidate will be part of a collaborative and supportive culture that values innovation, allowing them to make a significant difference to sustainable development of resources across Victoria.A successful candidate will have a proactive, solutions focused mindset to contribute to the implementation of the Towards 2030 Resources Victoria Strategy.Specialist/Technical Expertise/QualificationsA tertiary qualification in environmental science, engineering, earth science, natural resources, policy and public administration or other relevant discipline would be advantageous.Experience in a technical assessments or regulatory function would be advantageous.Demonstrated experience in providing project support in a fast paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining a positive attitude, meeting timelines and delivering consistently high-quality work.Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, through the development of succinct and clear briefings and documents (e.g. emails, reports, presentations, meeting papers and minutes) and well-developed attention to detail including experience in proof-reading/editing documents.Proven experience in developing and maintaining conducive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Demonstrated skills and experience working with large datasets and using data visualisation software (e.g. PowerBI) would be advantageous.This is a fixed term position available for a period until 31 December 2027.
