This position is responsible for implementing and continually improving Councils management of liquid trade waste, backflow prevention and water carting. This includes approvals, inspections, reviews and management of customer datasets within guidelines and legislation Whats on Offer: $1283.80 to $1437.90 per 35 hour week11.5% - super and the opportunity for salary progression 20 days paid annual leave every year, generous sick leave entitlements and access to flexi-time system (pro-rata) Access to training and development opportunities Access to long service leave after 5 years of continuous service Salary sacrifice options Generous uniform allowance Flexible work arrangements and reward program What we need from you: If you hold a Certificate III Trade Qualification in Plumbing or Certificate IV in Water Industry, then this opportunity is perfect for you! You will also need to have completed the Liquid Trade Waste Regulation qualification and have demonstrated knowledge of the installation and maintenance of liquid trade waste installations (separators, arrestors etc). Proven skill in interpreting the NSW Plumbing and Drainage Act, National Plumbing Code and related regulations and standards is essential, as is the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
