Direct message the job poster from Martin Brower ANZTalent Acquisition Leader | 14+ years experience in Building Strong TeamsDynamic and fast paced role in a global organisationNewly created role - Make your mark and create positive impactSupportive and collaborative culture with hybrid workingPartner on ongoing projects and initiatives in Sustainability and Strategic OperationsThe Opportunity:We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced and pragmatic procurement professional to play a crucial role in delivering Martin Browers procurement strategy for Indirect cost categories across ANZ, and be actively involved in optimising procurement activities and outcomes across the region.This is a critical role for the ANZ business, requiring you to implement, procurement and supplier management strategies, policies and practices for Indirect spend, and act in an advisory capacity for Directs.The role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of end-to-end procurement for the Indirect categories of spend, (including spend by HR, Finance, IT, Quality and Safety, and on equipment, energy and fuel, fleet and repairs). You will provide category insights, data analysis, market and industry knowledge and advice to support business strategies and guide procurement activities across the region. This is a critical strategic role, but you will also need to be prepared to roll your sleeves up.Day to day you will:Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned to organisational objectives to achieve target outcomesCollaborate with the leadership team and internal stakeholders to understand their requirements, identify and prioritise opportunities and manage potential risksConduct RFTs, identifying, evaluating and assessing potential suppliers and solutions against agreed requirementsLead negotiations and strategic sourcing of goods and services, delivering benefits, and ensuring fit-for-purpose, quality and other standards/outcomes are met, while maintaining effective governanceBuild and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders (local and global), ensuring alignment on procurement approach, goals, performance, quality, compliance and reliabilityUnderstand and manage the interdependencies and nuances between different sites and functions and leverage global arrangements where appropriatePromote sustainable and ethical sourcing, ensuring compliance with relevant policies, laws, regulations and ethical standardsAdvise internal stakeholders on procurement practices for their sourcing of direct goods and servicesAbout You:Demonstarted post graduate experience in finance, procurement, strategic sourcing or supply chain management, which includes a focus on indirect spendUnderstanding of sustainable procurement practices and ethical standardsProven strong negotiation and contract management skills for and the ability to secure favourable terms, build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.Strong commercial acumen and the ability to analyse and interpret procurement and risk data to drive decision-makingProven experience of aligning cross functional stakeholders (at all levels) towards common goals and targets.If you meet a number of the requirements, but not all, we encourage you to submit your application.What we offer:We believe in building careers through providing a safe, connected and innovative culture that supports ongoing growth and development.Reward programs and an exclusive employee discount portalEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Quarterly and annual recognition awardsMonthly business wide updates and lunch at the functions.Free onsite parkingPaid parental leaveVolunteer leaveOngoing Training and developmentCareer Growth opportunitiesAbout Martin Brower:At Martin Brower we are proud to be a leading global Supply Chain Solutions provider for large scale restaurant chains.
