The Amazon Strategic Account Services (SAS) program seeks to improve the customer and Selling Partner experience on Amazon by working directly with Selling Partners to improve value, selection, and convenience across their business. With increasing complexity of todays ecommerce and rise of opportunities, the SAS team aims to leverage the full potential of each Selling Partner on Amazon by providing leading-edge strategic consultancy using a data-driven, collaborative, and customer-focused approach to support our Selling Partners to achieve their goals. Our team will invent and innovate across technology, processes, and people to grow the program and enable scalable global solutions through direct cooperation with worldwide teams. The SAS program is seeking a dynamic and motivated Marketplace Consultant responsible for working with Selling Partners to help grow their business on Amazon. This includes support on launching new programs, exploring Amazons marketing tools, advising on account strategy and listings. The candidate will develop and convert a sales pipeline using a consultative, data-driven approach, onboard clients, and build long-term relationships with key decision-makers. As this is an early-stage program, developing processes, tools, and content is also part of the role. This position offers a chance to shape a key growth initiative for Amazon Australia and collaborate with cross-functional teams globally. The ideal candidate will excel at influencing external stakeholders, consulting, and account management. They should have a track record of initiative-taking, using data and tools to drive growth, implementing process improvements, and operating effectively in ambiguous environments. Key Responsibilities Create compelling value propositions for the SAS program and services. Identify, qualify, and engage prospective Selling Partners based on their needs. Manage a portfolio of Selling Partners, developing strategies, managing timelines, and leveraging Amazons tools and processes. Use analytical tools to interpret customer data and provide actionable business recommendations. Implement and monitor success metrics for your portfolio, using insights to identify opportunities. Present performance reviews and strategic discussions with Selling Partners. Understand the competitive environment and product offerings. Lead additional projects such as competitive analysis, content development, and process invention. A Day in the Life You will collaborate with Selling Partners to understand their goals, analyze data, develop strategies, and implement solutions. You will facilitate stakeholder discussions, present insights, and contribute to process and tool development to enhance service delivery.
