Neos headquarters are located in the southern region of Adelaide with regional offices in the Mid North and Murraylands.The company services a broad range of clients including metropolitan and rural Local Government, State and Federal Government Departments and the private sector.As a family business that has grown exponentially since we first opened our doors, our repeat order book is testament to the companys reputation within the industry.About the roleReporting to the Construction Manager, this role is responsible for the day-to-day management of project(s) to ensure successful delivery of our internal and external commitments.Our civil projects range from land subdivisions, renewal, environment, recreational and transport civil projects.Full Time Position will be responsible for Civil Projects in Metro Adelaide, Fleurieu Peninsula, Adelaide Hills areas and will be required to travel to our Lonsdale Head Office on a regular basis. So ideal for someone living in Southern Adelaide.Responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standard. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Overseeing all aspects of project planning, resource management, stakeholder engagement, contract administration and project reporting for full life cycle of assigned projects,Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets,Review project works programs, designs and tenders to identify cost-saving and risk mitigation opportunities,Manage project delivery from procurement through to handover, including contractor engagement, scheduling, progress tracking, commissioning, and project close-out,Manage contract administration including developing tender scoping and documentation,Report on project performance, plan, coordinate and facilitate project inspections, milestones and progress meetings,Ensure site safety and compliance across all construction activities,Monitor and report risks,Ensure safety, compliance and customer satisfaction by regularly reviewing project effectiveness, andAssist with the implementation and maintenance of the WHS, Policy, Procedures, Work Instructions or equivalent, forms and checklist in your area of responsibility,Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and foster productive networkSkills and experienceWe are on the hunt for a Project Manager with a level of seniority under their belt as a result of their experience and exposure to a range of civil infrastructure projects. Accordingly, our successful candidate will have:A solid Civil Construction project management portfolio delivered successfully under their sole leadership is essential.Tertiary Qualification in Civil Engineering, Project Management or similar (essential).Experience managing complex civil projects with the following elements: earthworks, roadworks, sewer, water, stormwater, CST, footpaths, etc. (essential).Ability to develop clear objectives, measures and targets for the site project team and monitor performance enabling targets and project KPI''s being met.Experience develop and implement project management plans specific to the project and client incorporating risk assessments (commercial and physical).Strong leadership, respectful communication and skills to motivate the crews.Working knowledge of projects / sites compliance with industry requirements, acts, regulations, codes of practice and other applicable legal requirements as they relate to project portfolio and people management.Experience in management of subcontractors and suppliers.Claims management and project financial reporting / forecasting.Experience running successful civil projects without compromising safety or qualityAn unwavering sense of undistracted calm and project control in times of pressure.Strong work ethic, reliable and positive attitude.The successful candidate can expectCompetitive salary plus superAccess to our annual profit-sharing bonusFully maintained company vehicleAccess to our employee referral programUniform, PPE and required tools providedA can-do culture of safety, performance and continuous improvementPre-EmploymentAs part of the recruitment process candidates will be required to complete a pre-employment medical and drug screening.
