This dual-role position involves industrial painting and protective coating application, combined with advanced inspection responsibilities to ensure full compliance with project specifications and industry standards. This is a FIFO role, operating on a 2:1 roster, with all flights, accommodation, and meals provided. Key Responsibilities Coating Application Perform industrial surface preparation and apply protective coatings as per technical specifications. Operate and maintain blasting, spraying, and coating equipment safely. Deliver high-quality finishes while meeting environmental and safety requirements. Inspection & Quality Assurance (NACE Level 3) Conduct Non-Destructive Inspections: DFT checks, surface profile evaluations, environmental monitoring. Perform Destructive Inspections: Adhesion and other physical testing as required. Maintain detailed inspection records and report findings and corrective actions. Ensure coatings meet specified standards, client requirements, and industry best practices. Provide guidance and oversight to coating teams to ensure compliance and quality. Communicate effectively with project stakeholders and resolve quality-related issues.
