Job Title

We are seeking a Controls Engineer with strong experience in metal processing. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in PLC programming, HMI development, and process improvement to optimize manufacturing operations.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and implement PLC and HMI systems for manufacturing processes.Troubleshoot, modify, and optimize existing control systems to enhance efficiency and reliability.Work closely with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to drive process improvements and automation initiatives.Perform system integration, testing, and commissioning of automation solutions.Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.Analyze production data and implement improvements to reduce downtime and increase efficiency.Provide technical support for plant operations and resolve control system issues.Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or a related field.5+ years of experience in controls engineering within a metal processing environment.Strong proficiency in PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.).Experience with HMI development and SCADA systems.Knowledge of industrial automation, robotics, and process optimization.Familiarity with electrical schematics, control circuits, and instrumentation.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, industrial setting.Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionEngineering, Design, and ManufacturingIndustriesIndustrial Machinery Manufacturing, Manufacturing, and Primary Metal Manufacturing #J-18808-Ljbffr
