Backed by extensive industry experience, our team delivers practical, results-driven solutions.The Opportunity Based in MackayWe are seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner/Scheduler for a Mackay-based role at a coal terminal, working on the planning and coordination of fixed plant infrastructure maintenance.This is a local position offering a standard Monday to Friday roster, with the flexibility of a Monday to Thursday arrangement for the right person. It''s an ideal opportunity for someone who wants to be home each night while contributing to a key local operation.Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain effective maintenance plans for fixed plant infrastructure.Schedule and coordinate maintenance activities to ensure safe and efficient execution.Use the onsite CMMS to manage maintenance work orders and track asset performance.Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to minimise downtime and optimise scheduling.Monitor maintenance data and identify areas for improvement across plant reliability and performance.Ensure all planning activities comply with site safety, environmental, and operational standards.What Were Looking For:Solid experience in maintenance planning and scheduling, preferably within mining, ports, or heavy industry.Strong knowledge of fixed plant equipment and operations.Proficiency in computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS).High attention to detail and strong communication skills.A commitment to safe work practices and continuous improvement.Valid Australian work rights.Why Work With AMA?At AMA, youll join a team thats passionate about delivering asset management excellence.
