The Training Officer Pathology SME plays a pivotal role in ensuring pathology professionals are ready and equipped to navigate the new SLIS environment. Working within the Learning & Development stream of the project, you will collaborate closely with subject matter experts, vendors, and pathology staff to develop training materials that are technically sound, discipline-specific, and aligned with regulatory and accreditation standards. You will cover multiple pathology disciplines, including:Haematology, Immunology & Blood BankBiochemistry & Point-of-Care TestingPre-Analytical ServicesMicrobiologyAnatomical PathologyGeneticsKey Responsibilities:Represent the operational needs of pathology departments in training planning and developmentCollaborate with SMEs and project team members to produce engaging and effective learning resourcesLead or contribute to the facilitation of training sessions for laboratory staffSupport harmonisation and standardisation of pathology workflows and LIS useEnsure training aligns with RCPA Pathology Informatics, Victorian digital health standards, and NPAAC accreditation requirementsEvaluate training needs and ensure continuous improvement in learning deliveryParticipate in user engagement, system testing, and go-live support activitiesWhat Youll BringTertiary qualifications in Science (e.g., Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent)Minimum 5 years of experience working in a pathology discipline within a hospital or health networkBroad knowledge of pathology operations and LIS-supported workflowsDemonstrated experience in training delivery or education design (formal L&D qualifications desirable)Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skillsUnderstanding of project lifecycles, change management, and digital health standardsFamiliarity with Microsoft 365 tools and training/project platforms such as MS Teams, Smartsheet or MS ProjectPlease apply below or contact Granite Group for further details. #J-18808-Ljbffr
