The Board promotes our Mission and Values, providing oversight and strategic direction by:Respecting and building on the organisations foundations and traditions.Defining and modeling the desired culture aligned with our Values.Establishing and driving strategic objectives in line with our Mission and Values.Supporting the CEO and Executive, while providing respectful challenge and accountability.Facilitating open dialogue, engaging stakeholders, and seeking continuous improvement.Focusing on customer voice and ensuring client-centric decision-making.The role involves attending approximately 8 board meetings annually, serving on at least one committee, participating in site visits, and engaging in other responsibilities such as Board formation, management liaison, professional development, and event attendance. Directors are appointed for up to three years, with re-appointment possible up to nine years. The position is remunerated.About YouWe seek an experienced NSW-based Non-Executive Director committed to Catholic Healthcares Mission, with expertise in finance, risk, and compliance. Candidates should have knowledge of audit, financial reporting, and governance compliance, and demonstrate sound decision-making, high-level communication skills, and alignment with our values of integrity, courage, and compassion. Candidates must be Christian or have a faith-based belief.
