The primary focus of this appointment is to increase the schools capacity for teaching, research, and higher degree research supervision in Economics and continue to forge multidisciplinary collaborations with other schools in research and teaching. This candidate will report directly to Head of School.Applicants must have a PhD and should be available to commence teaching in Semester 2 (July 2025).AccountabilitiesLevel BAs a Lecturer in Economics, you are expected to contribute to the schools undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in the discipline using innovative course design, development, and delivery approaches. You will also carry out activities to develop your scholarly research and professional activities both nationally and internationally.Level CAs a Senior Lecturer in Economics, you will make significant contributions the schools undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in the discipline using highly innovative course design, development, and delivery approaches You will also be encouraged to develop linkages with researchers from other Schools within UNSW Canberra and with the broader scholarly and practitioner communities, as well as provide leadership to post-doctoral and PhD students.
