We are seeking someone with a passion for building and maintaining a community of supporters. Reporting to the General Manager of Corporate Affairs & Communities, this brand-new role is a great chance to work with a Tasmanian born and bred institution. We are looking for someone who can have a real hands-on involvement across our national footprint.This full-time position is based at our gorgeous waterfront office in Hobart and offers a unique opportunity to connect locally and put into play your expertise in internal/external media communications and digital platforms. You will work on:Lead the strategic planning and oversee delivery of the strategic communications strategyDevelop comprehensive strategic corporate communications strategies primarily across external and digital channels.Campaign Development and ExecutionCollaborate with the marketing, talent and community engagement teams to deliver content creation and cross-channel campaigns that drive engagement and support strategic priorities.Corporate Messaging Development and AlignmentCollaborate with stakeholders to devise innovative approaches for creating compelling and engaging narratives that enhance Tassal''s positioning in the national marketplace.Team Management and LeadershipPosition this role (2 direct reports) and the broader team as proactive and transparent communicators, focused on the enhancement of Tassals corporate reputation both internally and externally across various jurisdictions.What can you bring?Significant experience in strategic communications planning & delivery, including both traditional and digital media.Demonstrated ability to lead high-functioning teams, fostering development in staff.Ideas and outcome focussed.Ability to engage in high level management discussions - liaising with key stakeholders internally and externally.Qualification in Media/Communications/Marketing/Public Policy or relevant long- term experience.Resilient, passionate and can work autonomously.What''s in it for you?Casual dress code wear your jeans to work (when appropriate)Celebrate your birthday with a paid day of leave!Look hot when cold with 25% off Helly Hansen clothingEmployee Assistance Program for you and your immediate familyBe part of our annual Employee Awards everyone has a say in who deserves recognition.PLUS!
