You will have demonstrated experience in a hands-on, customer facing role within the construction industry, with very strong relationship management skills having worked with a range of different stakeholders in the delivery of projects.What you''ll do:Assist in the end-to-end defect rectification process across our projectsConduct quality checks to ensure high quality works and mitigation of defectsApply your knowledge of contractual obligationsCoordinate the Defect Rectification process, including subcontractor supervision, ensuring rectification works comply with HSEQ standards and minor defect rectifications as requiredContribute to the administrative processes for customer care, including the defects register, warranty records, invoicesObtain quotes for necessary works as requiredParticipate in regular progress meetings and communicate updates with relevant stakeholdersProvide consistent, positive customer service, ensuring strong communication at all timesAssist with final sign off and handover of defectsAbout you:A passion for the construction industry, with previous experience in a similar Defects, Customer Care or Maintenance roleTrade background, with skills to conduct minor defect rectificationsRelevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent industry experienceA First Aid Certificate and Construction White CardKnowledge of the commercial construction processesExperience with Hammertech or similar safety systems (desirable)Strong communication and relationship management skillsStrong organisation and coordination skills, as well as time management and prioritisationCollaborative approach and a focus on teamworkHow youll benefit:Investment in training with the aim to have the best trained workforce in the industryFree health assessments for all staffPaid parental leave for both primary and secondary care giversFast-tracked career development opportunities and support through mentoring, workshops and retreatsIndustry-leading internal communication channels to break down silos across sites, allowing staff to share ideas, lessons learnt and other resources.Kapitol values diversity and aims to build an inclusive environment that champions, embraces and respects differences.
