This role has a focus on developmental paediatrics / general paediatrics and works as part of an integrated, multidisciplinary team.There is a significant primary care component of this role as well as working with specific programs across the service. There is also a requirement to participate in the development of improved child health services appropriate to meeting the needs of DDHS.Work Pattern: 0.5 FTE, days of work can be flexible to suit the right applicant.What You Need to SucceedAHPRA registration with minimum of two years post-Fellowship clinical experience.Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians General PaediatricianHighly developed communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with people from a wide range of cultural and social backgrounds.Demonstrated high standard of written skills in the preparation of reports, general correspondence and documentations.Strong organisational skills and demonstrated ability to plan, manage and prioritise tasks and resources to deliver outcomes within time and budget considerations.Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team in a cross cultural and complex environment.Understanding and respect of the importance of the role of Aboriginal community controlled organisations.Demonstrated competence in working with and understanding Medicare in a community setting.Knowledge of the Australian healthcare system and an understanding of contemporary health policyWant to talk this job through some more?
