As our Sales & Events Manager, youll spearhead event sales strategy, execute unforgettable experiences, and position RMYC as the premier event destination from wonderful weddings to professional corporate events.What Youll DoLead the growth of our events business by developing and executing a dynamic sales strategy.Proactively network and pursue new business opportunities by engaging with external contacts, attending industry events, and following up on potential leads to drive sales and event bookings.Manage and deliver seamless, WOW-worthy events from proposal to post-event feedback.Collaborate across departments to ensure the smooth execution of every event.Develop competitive event packages and creative promotional content with the marketing team.Mentor and lead a high-performing events team.Build strong relationships with clients, members, suppliers, and the community.What You BringA proven track record in event sales and management, ideally in the wedding or hospitality space.Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills.A commercially savvy mindset with budgeting and forecasting experience.An eye for detail and a passion for creating unforgettable guest experiences.A collaborative, can-do attitude aligned with our core Club values.Qualifications & RequirementsMinimum 5 years experience in event management and sales.Tertiary qualifications in Events, Hospitality or Business.RSA, RCG and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).Whats in It for You?
