Job Description

The Intelligence Analyst role is responsible for the collection, evaluation, analysis, and dissemination of timely intelligence to appropriate Agency personnel and external stakeholders. The role is instrumental in identifying and reporting intelligence-related concerns to assist decision-making processes and minimize potential risks to the Agency and community.In This Role You WillIdentify and maintain human source intelligence (including prisoners, staff, and visitors)Utilize Prisoner Telephone System data and call recordsUtilize mail dataReview data contained in QCS indices including intelligence systemsUtilize QCS Intel system to retain informationUtilize charting and mathematical modelling to identify linkages and relationships between entitiesUtilize statistical records to affect collation directionUtilize the IOMS intelligence moduleRecord analysis in QCS Intelligence SystemDevelop operational and tactical hypotheses regarding security risk issues within correctional centresUse endorsed QCSIG methodology, including office automation software and dedicated intelligence software such as Analyst NotebookShare intelligence process outcomes using QCS Intelligence systemUndertake Escape Risk AssessmentsConduct assessments to inform placement decisions, including oral and written intelligence products, in accordance with QCS dissemination proceduresAssist in developing intelligence and operational plansProvide support to partner agencies under the guidance of the QCS Intelligence GroupParticipate in centre-based partnering initiativesOccupational group: Intelligence #J-18808-Ljbffr
