You will oversee a broad portfolio including financial and HR management of the junior and senior medical workforce and the operational management of pharmacy, medical imaging and library departments.The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of the NSW hospital medical workforce structure and bring proven experience in managing complex operational and compliance requirements. You will play a key role in ensuring safe working hours, accreditation compliance, medical recruitment, and training coordination. Your ability to problem solve, lead with integrity, and represent the DMS at key committees will be essential.Proficiency in HealthRoster and a commitment to the CORE values of NSW Health are critical to success in this role.What You''ll Be DoingThe Medical Services Operations Manager (MSOM) is responsible for the effective and efficient operation of Medical Services of Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospital, responsible to the Director of Medical Services.This will include management of the generation of VMO contracts and MDAAC applications prior to submission to the DMS, oversight of medical rostering, Vmoney claims and TESL applications.
