Role Title: Intelligence and Data AnalystRole Type: 1 x Ongoing Full-Time Location: Hybrid Salary range for SNSW Grade 7/8: $102,899 - $121,317pa, plus superannuation and leave loadingAbout The Team: The Fraud Investigations & Management team plays a critical role to ensure integrity and effectiveness of Service NSW grants, rebates and voucher administration programs and the assessment of payments . T he SNSW Fraud Management Team comprises of two distinct teams: Fraud Intelligence and Data Analysis- proactively identifies tactical intelligence through analysis, continuous improvement opportunities through trends, patterns and methods impacting current and future environments and; Fraud Investigation - reviews alleged, suspected, or detected incidents of fraud, and escalates cases to law enforcement including representing SNSW in courts proceedings .About the Role: The role of the intelligence and data analyst Fraud is to conduct complex operational intelligence analysis and provide insights to identify high risk activities and emerging threats, support ing SNSW staff in undertaking risked based intelligence led regulation to protect the public, businesses and communities in NSW. Responsibilities: You will have significant experience and demonstrated knowledge of a ligning Intelligence led outcomes with all relevant Legislation such as the Privacy Act 1998 and NSW Crimes Act 1900 . You will have demonstrated r esearch, analys is and intelligence collat ion skills, and be able to identify trends and patterns using internal and external sources . You will be adept at provid ing detailed insights and recommendations regarding, legislative non-compliance and/or fraud identification with an awareness of investigation and evidentiary processes t hat inform decision makin g . You will be confident in the use of electronic Investigation Case Management Systems and have knowledge of contemporary and emerging technologies relating to the Intelligence environment. About You: To be successful in his role you will:have demonstrated skills, recent and relevant experience in th e presentation of complex intelligence, insights and data analysis in a way that can be understood by audiences of various levels of knowledge and experience have d emonstrated experience of the intelligence cycle and intelligence conceptshave strong communication and stakeholder management skills have excellent organisational and multitasking abilities and adaptable to competing priorities and challenges in dynamic environmentsf ormal qualifications in the Intelligence discipline will be highly regardedClick Here to access the Role Description .
