We have helped thousands of small business owners across Australia access short term, unsecured finance to drive their business growth and enable more opportunities.Position OverviewThis position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about data-driven decision-making and eager to develop their analytical skills in credit risk management.As a Credit Strategy & Pricing Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing credit data, conducting research and providing insights that assist in developing and implementing credit & pricing strategies to optimize revenue and profitability. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather data, perform analyses, and provide insights that drive pricing and credit strategy decisions.Key Responsibilities:Data Collection and Analysis:Collect and organize data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness.Assist in conducting quantitative and qualitative analyses to support business decisions.Generate reports and dashboards to present findings to the team and stakeholdersAssist in building and maintaining credit and pricing models/tools.Collect and analyze credit-related data, including customer behavior, loan performance, and economic indicators.Develop and maintain data models to identify trends and patterns.Research & Market Analysis - stay informed about industry trends and competitors to provide valuable data insights.Collaborate with senior team members to develop analytical models and methodologies.Assist in creating presentations and reports for internal and external audiences.Collaborate with the Director of Credit Strategy to design, develop, and implement credit risk strategies.Assess the effectiveness of existing credit policies and recommend improvements.Research & Market Analysis - stay informed about industry trends and competitors to provide valuable insights into strategy developmentProcess Improvement:Identify opportunities to streamline data collection and analysis processes.Suggest improvements in data quality and accuracy.Assist in the development and implementation of pricing strategies that align with company goals.Conduct competitive pricing analysis to ensure our pricing remains competitive in the market.Collaborate with the team to recommend pricing adjustments based on data-driven insights.Monitor and evaluate the impact of pricing changes on revenue and profitability.Documentation:Maintain detailed records of data sources, methodologies, and analysis results.Ensure that data documentation is up-to-date and accessible to team members.Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.Participate in meetings and contribute ideas to drive departmental initiatives.Credit/Decision Engine development and maintenanceConfiguration and testing of the decision engine in which pricing and decision strategies will be codedTranslate approved credit strategies into requirements for the purpose of updating the decisioning engineQualifications:Bachelor''s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Economics, Finance, Business, Mathematics, Statistics).2+ years relevant lending analytic experienceStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and competency with at least one data analysis language (e.g., SQL, Python, R)Excellent communication and presentation skills.Detail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges.Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.Why Work for OnDeckWhere do we begin?
