Enjoy a rewarding workplace that values your contributions and supports your family.As a Senior Behaviour Support Practitioner, youll report to the Regional Clinical Manager for West Melbourne and Geelong. You will support a caseload of participants, conducting assessments, developing behavioural support plans and programs, and assisting with their implementation. Youll also support the Regional Clinical Manager with clinical supervision and may work with participants with complex needs. The work is based on principles of Multi-Element Behaviour Support (MEBS) and Positive Behaviour Support across various settings.What You''ll DoMake positive and distinct changes to the lives of others by developing and maintaining relationshipsProvide direct behavioural interventions in individual and group sessionsDevelop Functional Behavioural Assessments and Behaviour Analysis Support PlansSupport and train colleagues, caregivers, and support workers on clinical techniquesSupport the Regional Clinical Manager with clinical supervision of the Behaviour Support Practitioner teamCollaborate with professionals such as doctors, psychiatrists, speech therapists, and occupational therapists to develop participant goalsEnsure compliance with legislative requirements regarding report writing and documentationComplete introductory IABA training in Non-Linear Multi-element Positive Behaviour SupportSkills and ExperiencesA bachelors degree and/or postgraduate qualifications related to Positive Behaviour SupportHold or be able to obtain an NDIS Practitioner ID, NDIS Workers Screening Check, and Working with Children CheckStrong professional experience in Positive Behaviour SupportExperience providing clinical expertise, supervision, and leadership in a team of Behaviour Support PractitionersAbility to prepare and finalise technical reports with high-level communication skillsEffective time management skills to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentWorking at CPBSJoin the CPBS team, recipients of the Most Outstanding Positive Behaviour Support Provider Worldwide at The Globals!
