A career at ASC is like no other, delivering a deeper purpose we can all be proud of.About the OpportunityEarly Careers Recruitment AdvisorThe Early Careers Recruitment Advisor will be responsible for volume recruitment, event coordination and stakeholder management across all Early Careers programs at ASC.Recruitment Advisor OperationsASCs Recruitment Operations team oversee all active, new and replacement vacancies across the business. Recruiting unique and exciting roles that directly contribute to the sustainment of the Collins Class Submarine fleet, as well as the future build and sustainment work of the AUKUS Nuclear Powered Submarines.The successful candidates will join the team on an initial 12-month fixed term contact, however, there is potential for the position to be ongoing.Early Careers Recruitment Advisor responsibilities will include:Complete end-to-end recruitment processes for successful Early Careers Program applicants including offer and checksDelivery of Early Careers Programs recruitment services in line with agreed recruitment framework and service level agreement/timeframesCompliance with recruitment processes to successfully recruit new apprentices, graduates and undergraduatesPartnering with Universities, TAFEs and Schools to add value and raise awareness of ASCs Early Careers ProgramsAttend and provide coordination support for various career fairs, high school schools, tertiary learning institutes and industry peak bodies (some interstate travel may be required)Recruitment Advisor Operations responsibilities will include:Collaborating with internal stakeholders to maintain quality recruitment service to the businessWorking closely with the Recruitment Business Partners and Recruitment Coordinators to ensure roles are filled with the best suited candidate, in a timely mannerEnsuring compliance with ASCs recruitment policies and proceduresSupporting a diverse and inclusive recruitment practice that remains fair and equitableScope of duties will include advertising, shortlisting candidates, conducting interviews, processing pre-employment checks and providing offers to candidatesProviding current industry and recruitment advice and guidance to stakeholdersMaintaining a positive and efficient candidate experienceAbout youHave proven experience in Recruitment at an Advisory levelTertiary qualifications in Human Resources, or similar (desirable)Demonstrated experience in end-to-end high-volume recruitmentHave strong influencing and relationship building skills with key stakeholdersHave initiative, drive and be results orientatedA proactive self-starter with the ability to work under pressure, managing conflicting priorities.Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.Familiarity with the PageUp system and CHRIS21 (highly desirable)EligibilityThis role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance to an NV1 level.
