We work alongside the people we support, their family and/or caregivers, allied health professionals and other community groups to deliver a high-quality service.We are looking for an experienced and passionate leader to provide support to the Support Worker team to ensure high quality service delivery that aligns with participant goals and outcomes. In this role, you will take an active role in rostering, planning for and arranging personal and annual leave cover. You will participate in recruitment, induction and training of Support Workers to ensure they are well equipped to deliver support to participants. In addition, you will work with the Area Coordinator to ensure exceptional person-centered service delivery that complies to all relevant standards and regulations and reflects the strategic direction of Anglicare WA.This is a part time role (22.5 hours per week), working Monday - Fridays. There will also be a requirement to be available for additional hours during the week for Support Worker shift coverage.Desired Skills and ExperienceAbout youYou will have a good understanding of person-centered practice and are passionate about supporting people with a disability. To be successful in this role you will have:Cert IV In Disability/Human Services and/or relevant leadership experienceDemonstrated understanding of and the ability to apply the objects and principles of the National Disability Insurance SchemeWell-developed interpersonal and communication skillsDemonstrated understanding of workplace safety and health laws and requirementsAbility to be innovative and flexible, work collaboratively, motivate staff and work effectively under pressure when requiredYou must possess a current NDIS Worker Screen Check, National Police Clearance valid within one year, a Provide First Aid Certificate and a WA Drivers Licence.Impact and benefitsSharing your knowledge, skills and experience, you will make an impact to the lives of families and communities across the state.In return for your drive and commitment, we provide the support of an inclusive and welcoming community which places people at the heart of all the work we do and encourages broad thinking, curiosity, creativity and best practice.Also:-A competitive salary from $84,000per annum(pro rata) + 11.5% superannuationSalary packaging of up to $15,900 (which equates to circa $4K after tax) plus additional salary packaging of up to $2,650 for meal and entertainment expensesAdditional 3 days leave per year over festive periodFlexible, family friendly working conditionsAt Anglicare WA we are all about people, placing people at the heart of our work.
