Collectively, we are a diverse national team, applying a consistent design methodology to deliver successful projects for our clients and the people who inhabit them.About The RoleWe are looking for a Senior Interior Designer with proven experience working in a commercial design environment to join our thriving Sydney office as part of our interior design team, working across multiple sectors such as Education, Commercial, and Workspace.As a Senior Interior Designer, you will be involved in managing projects, including project financials and acting as the client contact, with support from our Partners. Strong design acumen and stakeholder management skills are a must.We rely on our designers to manage projects from end to end, and all our designers are required to have strong Revit skills as well as the proven ability to communicate designs and ideas through multiple mediums including Revit, Enscape, InDesign, and Photoshop.Our open and light-filled Sydney studio is in the heart of the Sydney CBD, close to trains, buses, and ferries, with onsite showers for those who enjoy riding or running to work. You will become part of our fun-loving, dedicated, and creative team of over Architects, Architectural Technicians, Interior Designers and Graphic Design professionals.General ResponsibilitiesPlay a key role in client briefings, workshops, design, and design developmentManage and deliver projects from all stages: concept design, design development, documentation, on-site construction management.Lead and manage your own folio of projects and work closely with our PartnersLiaise with clients, consultants and other external stakeholdersContribute to the ongoing development and mentoring of other staffPrepare presentations and communicate designs in multiple forms; Revit, Enscape, InDesign, Photoshop, VR etc.About you:To Be Successful In This Role You Will NeedA diploma or bachelors degree in interior design or interior architectureMinimum of 7 years experience in Education, Commercial, or Workspace interior designPassion for design, ideas, and a willingness to innovate.To be a part of our studio culture which can involve attending client and supplier eventsTo be involved in hosting client events and functionsStrong or developing client and stakeholder management skillsStrong Revit skillsAbility to manage projects through all project phases: concept design, space planning, design development, documentation, on-site construction management and contract administrationA thorough understanding of the fundamental BCAs and related building regulations and specificationsThe capacity to work as part of a team with the ability to work autonomouslyPassionate about mentoring junior team membersWhat is on Offer?Gray Puksand Can OfferPassionate, highly engaged, respectful, fun-loving, teamAn empowering and supportive management teamA growing national firm who will support your career as it goes from strength to strengthHigh calibre projects which will require innovation and creativity.Structured development, learning and mentoring programsFurthermore, you will be rewarded with a competitive remuneration package and ongoing career development.To ApplyPlease press the Apply button.
