Position Details Shift: 1st shift / 40 hours / Full-Time Location: Akron City Campus Summary Performs hospital food service duties such as assembling, delivering, and retrieving patient trays, washing dishes, and supporting cafeteria services. Provides high-quality service with respect to all. Minimum Qualifications Ability to read, write, and perform basic math. Knowledge of and compliance with local, state, and federal food handling regulations (e.g., HACCP). Ability to assemble and pass trays. Helpful and pleasant communication skills with visitors, staff, physicians, and co-workers. Ability to interact effectively with patients/customers respecting their dignity. Physical demands include exerting 20-50 pounds of force, being active on feet most of the day, and lifting/moving objects. Additional Information Salary range: $15.30/hr - $18.57/hr, based on experience and location.
