You will be working in a purpose-built laboratory in Perth that is co-located with a busy multi-disciplinary hospital and cancer centre. The lab services the hospital network and community referrers across Western Australia, and supports an array of subspecialty areas including skin, gastrointestinal, head and neck, endocrine, colorectal, hepatobiliary, gynaecology including oncology, lymphoma, breast, urology and soft tissue. The lab has comprehensive on-site cytology and molecular services, offers a full immunohistochemical suite, and runs a busy MDT and frozen section service for clinicians.As Consultant Anatomical Pathologist, you will work alongside a team of senior pathologists, including consultants and registrars, across all general Anatomical Pathology specimens. You will provide high-quality diagnostic, consultative, and procedural services while being supported to pursue special interests in accordance with the team profile. You will work in a collegiate lab that is well-supported by excellent scientific staff as well as local and national expert pathologists for specialist advice. You will have opportunities to contribute to various research initiatives and continuous quality improvement programs.A special interest in skin is essential.Where youll be livingYou will be living in Australias sunniest capital, often regarded as one of the most livable cities in the world.
