This is a critical infrastructure project with significant public impact.The OpportunityReporting to the Manager, Communications & Stakeholder Relations on the Southern Program Alliance you will play an integral part in establishing and building the projects positive reputation with the community and impacted residents, stakeholder groups, traders, and schools.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement comprehensive communication and stakeholder engagement strategies aligned with project goals and timelines.Identify key stakeholders and develop strong, positive relationships with these stakeholders through proactive engagement, consultation, and addressing concerns.Proactively identifying potential issues and risks that could impact stakeholders or project reputation.Planning, organizing, and facilitating various stakeholder engagement activities such as public meetings, workshops, information sessions, and one-on-one briefings. Ensuring appropriate feedback mechanisms are in place and that stakeholder input is considered and responded to.Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of communication and stakeholder engagement activities. Providing regular reports to project leadership on stakeholder sentiment, key issues, and engagement outcomes.Provide leadership and mentoring where applicableRequired Skills And CompetenciesTertiary qualification in relevant disciplineMinimum 5 years professional experience in stakeholder management, customer or community liaison and communicationsDemonstrated experience on a Rail/ Civil Infrastructure project or within a similar complex environment highly desirableCurrent Driver Licence and your own reliable vehicle.ACCIONA has been given the Top Employer 2022, 2023, 2024 & 2025 certification in Australia, which certifies the company''s commitment to excellence in human resources management and those who focus on putting their people first through their exceptional HR policies.
