Key objectives of role:To support the Clinical Director and GM in providing Clinical Governance for the organisationTo provide psychiatric care to clients admitted to South Pacific Private under your careProvide urgent pre-admission psychiatric assessments when necessaryReview clients under your care weekly (at least)Ensure psychiatric cover for your patients during your absenceParticipate in weekly MDS team meetingsReview Day Program clients as needed, based on observations or suggestions from the Day Program ManagerOur VMO ExperienceFlexible working hoursDaily networking and peer support opportunitiesSupported by a multidisciplinary team including GPs, counsellors, therapists, mental health-trained Registered Nurses, and Case ManagersConference opportunitiesOur Patient ExperienceSpecialised care and treatment in childhood trauma, mood disorders, addictions, and general adult psychiatryQualifications and requirements include:Recognised NSW Medical Board qualifications (AHPRA) and Medicare Provider NumberPostgraduate training, qualification, and extensive experience in PsychiatryBoard Certification as per Australian Government RegulationsSound commercial understanding and experienceKnowledge of the Private Health and Mental Health Sectors in NSW and AustraliaHigh professional competence and personal integrityExcellent written and verbal communication skills and presentationInitiative, commitment, and flexibility #J-18808-Ljbffr
