Key Objectives of the Role:Support the Clinical Director and GM in providing Clinical Governance for the organisation.Provide psychiatric care to clients admitted to South Pacific Private under your care.Conduct urgent pre-admission psychiatric assessments when necessary.Review clients under your care weekly (at minimum).Ensure psychiatric cover for your patients during your absence.Participate in weekly MDS team meetings.Review Day Program clients as needed, based on group observations or suggestions from the Day Program Manager.Our VMO Experience:Flexible working hours.Daily networking and peer support opportunities.Supported by a multidisciplinary team including GPs, counsellors, therapists, mental health-trained Registered Nurses, and Case Managers.Conference opportunities.Our Patient Experience:Specialised care and treatment in childhood trauma, mood disorders, addictions, and general adult psychiatry.Qualifications and Experience:Recognised NSW Medical Board qualifications (AHPRA) and Medicare Provider Number.Postgraduate training, qualification, and extensive experience in Psychiatry.Board Certification as per Australian Government Regulations.Sound commercial understanding and experience.Knowledge of the Private Health and Mental Health Sectors in NSW and Australia.High level of professional competence and personal integrity.Excellent written and verbal communication skills and presentation.Initiative, commitment, and flexibility. #J-18808-Ljbffr
