Consultant Paediatric Endocrinologist (Sabbatical Cover)The Royal Children''s HospitalApplications close Friday 6 June 2025 at 11.59PMOverviewWork type: Fixed term - Part time Salary: $100,000 - $300,000 Grade: Undefined Occupation: Medical and Nursing Location: Melbourne Reference: 13294About the RoleThis is a fixed term Part Time position at 4 sessions per fortnight (0.2 EFT) within the Department of Endocrinology & Diabetes, to provide backfill for consultants who are taking planned sabbatical from Sep 2025 to Jun 2026.You will be responsible for the provision of excellent clinical care for children and adolescents with endocrine conditions and diabetes. This role has an inpatient (ward cover) component and an outpatient component, which may include outreach clinics.Classification for this position will range from HN19 to HN59.What youll achieve:Promote and maintain exemplary standards of clinical practice in an inpatient and outpatient contextProvide supervision and support to junior medical staff (Fellows and SRMO), and training and education to the departments staff and medical students.Actively participate in team meetings and educational activities within the department.Your skills and experience:Experience in Paediatric Endocrinology at Consultant level, preferably at RCHFRACP or equivalent College FellowshipFamiliarity with Epic EMR and other RCH IT systems and policiesIf this sounds like you, click here to view the position description.About the Department:The Royal Children''s Hospital Department of Endocrinology and Diabetes is one of the largest departments of its type in Australia.
