Your Role As the Warehouse General Hand, you will assist in the daily operation of the warehouse and perform tasks as directed by the Warehouse Supervisor, in accordance with the Societys policies and procedures. Your Responsibilities Contribute to the successful implementation of the Strategic Plan within your team. Sort stock within the warehouse. Unload donations and stock from incoming trucks. Assist with loading trucks for distribution to Vinnies shops as needed. Pre-sort and sort stock, including bric-a-brac, in the warehouse. Assist with processing stock to complete orders. Work within the Food Barn when required. Assist with stocktakes as needed. Undertake general warehouse duties under the supervision of the Warehouse Supervisor. Requirements Experience in a warehouse environment. Physical ability to perform manual tasks required in a warehouse setting. Thorough knowledge of Manual Handling procedures. Understanding of Work, Health and Safety legislation and procedures. Ability to perform duties in line with the Societys philosophies and objectives.
