Job Description - Qualified Aviation Tanker Driver (263055)Qualified Aviation Tanker Driver - 263055As a key player in the Defence Industry, UGL plays a crucial role in supporting the Australian Defence Force across 100 locations nationwide. From operations and maintenance to asset management and fuel supply services, our team''s expertise ensures we deliver effectively and sustainably.As a result of expanding scope of works, we are currently seeking tanker truck drivers and operators to work with the team at the Darwin RAAF base.This a unique and exciting opportunity to work within a team of defence personnel while enjoying the benefits of working with a Tier 1 service provider. Work as one team and perform the delivery of fuel to the RAAF and other Defence stakeholders on base.The RoleReporting through to a UGL leading hand or supervisor, your day-day directions will come form the Commanding Officer or similar of the particular squadron you will be working with. These duties will include, but not limited to;Operate fuel tanker truck around the fuel installation and the defence baseWork closely with operator to safely load your fuel tank truck with required fuelDeliver the fuel to the designated fuel point i.e., refuelling point, aircraft on the runway etcOperate pumps on tanker truck to ensure effective delivery of fuel to aircraftCommunicate with internal and external team to ensure good customer experienceWhat you NeedYou will be a strong team player, a self-starter and dedicated employee that will draw on your experience and diverse skills to deliver high quality outcomes for UGL and our customer.
