Make a Difference at Romsey Community Aged Care! We understand the significant value of volunteers and the great benefit they bring to our residents. We welcome applications from anyone (regardless of age, background or gender) to complement the wonderful care and attention we offer. Why volunteer? Working in aged care can be a rewarding and valuable experience. Volunteers provide an important link to the community, offering companionship and friendly communication. You can share personal stories and experiences from our residents'' past, bringing brightness to their present. Who should volunteer? Anyone. No experience or special skills are requiredjust a willingness to participate in activities and enjoy chatting. What would I be doing? The primary role of a volunteer is to provide companionship through listening and talking to residents. Other activities may include arts and crafts, gardening, bus outings, reading, and games.
