An exciting career opportunity as a Facility Educator awaits your application at Darwin Private Hospital.You will play a key role in ensuring the planning, development and teaching of nursing education course/programs at the hospital are well thought out and executed.As the Facility Educator your responsibilities will include:Plan, develop and deliver nursing education courses/programs within the hospitalCoordinate and provide hands on educational support and clinical teaching/facilitation and orientation to all staff, graduate nurses & studentsPromote a high standard of evidence based nursing care to all patients, through dissemination of current best practice knowledgeSupervise staff compliance to annual Mandatory Training and completion of eLearning componentsEnsure best practice competency based programs are available and assessment of staff competencies are provided for all operating theatre staffDarwin Private Hospital is the only provider of private hospital services in the Northern Territory.
