Marlin Tiles are seeking a Customer Service Sales Assistant in our showroom to join our team. We seek someone who is comfortable serving customers and who has a genuine interest in interior design, renovation, or new construction, and has excellent interpersonal and organisational skills. Marlin Tiles is a locally owned and operated family business, serving the residential and commercial building industry throughout regional Queensland for over 30 years. We specialize in the sales of quality tiles and associated tiling products and pride ourselves in providing personalized professional service. About the role Your role will include assisting and advising customers with tile selections for new builds and renovations, as well as handling inquiries related to all things tiles and associated products. You will also be required to check stock availability, process customer orders and quotes via phone and email. This role requires someone with exceptional organisational skills to fulfill administrative duties. All training will be provided. This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, with alternate rostered Saturday mornings (8am-12noon). It would suit someone with excellent customer service skills interested in working within a team environment. Benefits and perks Located in Cairns central area. Consistent hours. Set roster.
