Executive Assistant / Office Manager (EOB) - Claire Clutterham MPThe office of Claire Clutterham MP is seeking applications for a full-time ongoing Executive Assistant / Office Manager, based in the MPs Electorate Office in Norwood, SA.The role requires you to confidently operate with a high level of discretion, autonomy, and accountability in a fast-paced environment to deliver high-quality executive and administrative support to both the sitting Member for Sturt in the Federal Parliament and to the constituents of Sturt.The ideal candidate is highly organized, solution-focused, with a collaborative approach and the ability to work with minimal supervision, ensuring regulatory standards and deadlines are met, and excellent service is provided. Tenacity, resourcefulness, patience, and the ability to cultivate and contribute to a positive workplace culture are essential. The candidate should have a strong track record of success in providing high-level executive support to senior roles in complex environments.The key duties of the position include but are not limited to:Providing high-level executive support to the Member for Sturt, including diary management and travel arrangements;Managing the day-to-day operations of the Electorate Office with the highest standards of personal integrity, confidentiality, and sensitivity;Establishing and maintaining strong working relationships with constituents, community groups, and government stakeholders;Monitoring, assessing, and prioritizing a high volume of incoming papers, emails, inquiries, and calls;Drafting, proofreading, and editing briefs, memorandums, and correspondence;Researching, planning, and developing documents such as agendas and minutes;Managing the office budget and the Member''s expenses;Organizing and executing community events.The ideal applicant should possess the following skills, qualifications, and experience:High-level organizational, analytical, and conceptual skills with the ability to manage competing priorities autonomously;Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, producing well-researched, accurate, and detailed content;Experience collaborating across diverse stakeholders in complex organizations;Ability to anticipate needs and develop solutions within the role''s scope;Strong professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion;Solid interpersonal skills to negotiate and build relationships with stakeholders and team members;Technical proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with social media platforms;Experience managing budgets and expense accounts meticulously;A connection to the electorate of Sturt and an interest in politics (advantageous).Salary: Between $74,095 and $86,506, negotiable based on experience and skills.An additional allowance of up to $13,423 may be considered for extra hours and travel.Additional benefits may include relocation assistance, studies assistance, paid study leave, and employer superannuation contribution of 15.4%.Applicants should note:An initial probation period of three months, possibly extendable;Requirement to undergo a National Police History Check;Potential automatic cessation triggers in accordance with Section 14 of the MOP(S) Act.Submit a CV with two referees and a 2-page cover letter outlining your interest, skills, and experience to Claire.Clutterham@aph.gov.au.
