Ranger Coordinators X 2 (based in Manmoyi, West Arnhem Land)Warddeken Land Management is seeking two passionate and experienced individuals to join our team as Ranger Coordinators at Manmoyi in West Arnhem Land. We''re dedicated to conserving the Warddeken Indigenous Protected Area (IPA) and fostering sustainable land management practices.About the rolesOne of these roles will oversee and coordinate the activities of the Daluk (female) rangers and the other role will coordinate the activities of the Bininj (male) rangers, collaborating closely with various stakeholders.Reporting to the Ranger Teams Manager, you''ll play a pivotal role in delivering effective land management programs within the Warddeken IPA. The Ranger Coordinators work closely with the CEO, Deputy CEO, Ranger Teams Manager, Operations Manager, other Coordinators, and the Ranger workforce to coordinate day-to-day administrative tasks and on-ground works.The Ranger Coordinators are responsible for supporting on-the-job training and leading by example in the delivery of fire, weed, and feral animal management projects.These positions involve regular remote travel within the IPA via 4WD, light aircraft and helicopter, and will suit someone who loves being out on-Country and camping.Key ResponsibilitiesThis is a precious opportunity to undertake meaningful work, combined with personal growth and self-discovery.
