We employ over 1,350 FTE at more than 100 sites worldwide across the Airport, Parcel & Postal, and Warehousing divisions.Role DescriptionAs an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will support one of our key customer systems in the Greater Sydney area. This role involves maintaining high-end automated material handling solutions critical to our customer''s business. The system includes electro-mechanical components controlled by low-level and high-level control systems. You will be responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance activities during your shift, ensuring professional delivery of maintenance services.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct electrical maintenance inspectionsDiagnose and repair electrical systemsEnsure compliance with electrical safety standardsAssist with mechanical duties as neededThis is a full-time, on-site role with 12-hour shifts on a 24/7 roster.QualificationsElectrical qualification (Cert III in Electrotechnology) and contractor/supervisor license3-5 years of relevant experience as a Service Engineer/TechnicianUnderstanding of industrial controls (PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, etc.)Strong electrical background with mechanical aptitudeDual Trade Certificate (electrical and mechanical) is highly regardedExperience in logistics, postal sorting, and baggage handling systems is highly regardedPosition RequirementsObtain an Aviation Security Identification Card for Sydney AirportPass criminal and ID checks to verify work entitlements in AustraliaFully vaccinated for COVID-19Pass a pre-employment medical examination, including drug and alcohol testingWe offer a competitive remuneration package to a team player with a positive, energetic attitude and the ability to think outside the box.
